Terms and Conditions

Due to ongoing development, the scope of services supplied is subject to change without notice.

blueturtle acts as a service provider for artists interested in selling their artwork, and individuals/galleries interested in purchasing artwork, through online.

Certain third party services including but not limited to Google Analytics, website content management system, merchant facilites and payment gateways may contain their own terms and conditions of usage, which may take precedence over any provisions herein.

Before you use the blueturtle website you must read, agree with and accept all of these Terms and Conditions and policies. blueturtle reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to change or modify all or any part of these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time, effective immediately upon posting such changes on the website. The policies form part of these Terms and Conditions and hence should be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions.

blueturtle is an online art gallery, you will need access to a desktop, laptop or mobile device with internet capabilities to access the artwork on the website and our service.

blueturtle aims to promote hand-made, original artworks and only allows enhanced mediums or digitised or electronically produced, such as photographs or other works created and/or modified by a computer, on a discretionary basis.

Artworks may include paintings, drawings, watercolours, ink works, mixed media, sculptures etc. Contact us if you would like to list your item outside these categories.

Artists wanting to list photography, sculpture or digital art must apply here for approval first.

All artist approvals are at the discretion of blueturtle.

Artists agree to respect blueturtle portal and not attempt to direct traffic away from Blueturtle to make personal contact or sales outside of blueturtle. Artist should not promote and/or post information about the artwork on social media platforms and any personal accounts:

Print & Production

All prints are made to order. They require a 7-10 business day production time.

blueturtle artwork is printed on museum grade papers. Please contact us for more paper options.

Reproductions/Prints (photography and electronically altered works are approved by blueturtle before listing) with limited editions, numbered and signed by the artist.

Sale

blueturtle accepts payment by credit card and debit card. Payment is required before an order can be processed. For international orders we accept payment by credit card only.

All prices shown on the blueturtle website are in Australian Dollars (AUD). Prices of artworks shown on the Blueturtle website are set at the discretion of the artist.

Artist who receives direct enquiries must inform blueturtle and direct the buyer to complete the transaction on blueturtle.

Stripe charge a commission to the seller. This commission is deducted from the payment made to blueturtle.

All content on the blueturtle website is copyright of either blueturtle or the Artist. Content must not be downloaded or used without express written permission from blueturtle, or the Artist where the content is their own work.

The Artist retains all copyright for physical artworks (which includes reproduction rights).

blueturtle reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time and at its absolute discretion. blueturtle reserves the right to modify, terminate or suspend member accounts, at any time, at its discretion, and without prior notice.

Promotions

Promotions, discounts and promotional codes are valid for the advertised dates and times only and cannot be extended. Discounts cannot be applied to orders placed outside of the advertised promotion times.

If a discount code is supplied, this must be applied at checkout to redeem the promotion. Discount codes cannot be added after your order has been placed and confirmation received.

All promotions are available to Australian residents only. Unless specified, all promotions are available to retail customers only.

Promotions cannot be combined with other promotions. All promotional codes and special offers are not redeemable for cash, cannot be used to purchase gift cards, cannot be redeemed against a prior purchases, are non-transferable, and do not apply to Trade and wholesale customers. Only one promotional code or special offer can be applied per transaction.

Promotional items are available only while stocks last. blueturtle can, at its sole discretion, extend or terminate a Promotion at any time.

Custom Orders

Can’t find the right size for your space? We can certainly assist you with custom sizes.

Please contact us at info@blueturtle.au with your chosen artwork and your desired size, and we can quote you. Size limitations apply and may vary with each product.

Custom orders are not included in any promotional sales or discounts and are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Once an order is placed and paid for it is considered final, and no amendments or cancellations can be made.

Shipping Information

International Shipping may incur additional fees and charges. These charges may be presented after sale has occurred.

Shipping prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

All fine art/archival prints will be shipped in a rolled tube for $14.95 Australia-wide.

For artwork with framing custom shipping charges will apply depending on the size and weight of the artwork.

blueturtle requires a delivery address at checkout for delivering the artwork.

Please allow for a delivery time frame of 2-3 weeks. International deliveries vary, and we will update you with tracking and eta via our logistics partners.

We also send artwork overseas; please send us your address for a delivery quote. All international taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

Dispatch & Delivery

Delays may occur in the event of extreme weather conditions.

We are unable deliver to PO Boxes as our couriers require a street address for delivery.

If you do not wish your item to be left at the delivery location by the courier, please let us know on the check-out page. If you choose to give us authority to leave your item, no responsibility can be taken by Blueturtle if an item is lost or stolen or impacted due to any other circumstances like weather, etc.

If you select to sign for your delivery but are not available to do so on the delivery day, your item will be taken to their nearest depot for you to collect at a time convenient to you - we will provide tracking information when your order is dispatched,

If a re-delivery is requested, charges will apply. Please contact us for information on re-delivery fees.
